This run, I had a contest on Facebook that whoever donated the most money to St. Judes got to pick what I raced in. My friend Seth and his family donated were the highest bidders and chose Lion-O from the Tundercats. What a great choice! This was also my second Warrior Dash in two days. My official completion time was 54:13.15. Continue reading 2012 Warrior Dash – Day 2

Year two of the Spartan Races for me. What a difference training for a race is to your time. This was the first obstacle course race that I actually trained for and dropped about 45 minutes off my time. Official race time: 1:36:55. Continue reading 2013 Spartan Sprint

In my quest to find protein bars that are good for you and taste good, I decided to give the Quest Bars a try, based on a lot of good feedback from my P90X3 support and accountability group. I fired up my web browser and ordered a 12 back of flavors from Amazon. Today’s bar is Cinnamon Roll.
The flavor was like a weak cinnamon roll, so the title fits, but it is not going to go on my favorites list. Overall, the bar is fine and having 20g of protein is a good thing.
Overall: Not bad.
